IN SOCIAL SERVICES:

                     He is closely associated with a number of civil service organizations, like Sevashram looking after senior citizens, Society for Participatory Development and Research ( SPDR ) engaged in number of developmental and participatory activities like promotion of development foundations in villages, skilled development centers imparting improved skills in varios vocational fields on par with the changing information technology world. Extensive efforts have been taken for imparting basic living skills, animator skills, communication skills, inter- personal skills, behavioral skills, negotiation skills, consensus building skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, managerial skills and disaster management skills, exclusive national seminars for organizing in respect of medicinal and aromatic plants covering farming as well as commercialization in association with the FAPCCI. Health and hygiene program for school children particulary were conducted in association with Johnson & Johnson group covering a total of nearly 2,00,000 chidren in Twin Cities, Vijayawada and vizag. Several Programmes in rural areas operational aspects of integrated rural development were conduted, Particularly aiming Poverty alleviation. A number of programs were successfully conducted for self help groups, women and entreprenurship development programmes for educated and uneducated youth in remote village areas in Khammam and East Godavari Districts. LITUP programmes were conducted for imparting literacy for adults in various slum areas. Institute of Nature Cure is another important outfit though which health, hygiene and yoga is made accessible to the people of Hyderabad and its surrounding areas. SAVE is an important activity oriented organization with which Mr.subba Rao is associated. SAVE ( Systematic Action for Village Evolution ) which has programs relating to women,s incorne generation, health education, life skills and participation, destitute families, handicapped and street children etc. In short Civil Services and Subba Rao go together.
